"I have known the owners of thrive for several years and they were both instrumental in my success with early through current recovery and are two of the most incredible people I have ever known. I met each of them through another Denver sober living/treatment program. I am very grateful to Mile High Recovery Center/Sober Living and that I had help finding the willingness to try sober living. "When I moved into sober living, my only reasoning at the time was “I can’t go 5 minutes without putting a substance in my body. I’ve tried everything else. I might as well try this”. I googled “sober living in Denver” and called the first number on the list. I had a callback within 2 mins from Jill. I was shocked at how genuine and helpful she was. Jill took down my information and did everything in her power to get me into sober living asap. Days later (due to me dragging my feet, obviously) I moved into a sober living house with josh as the house manager. After I moved in, i started to become hopeful again, slowly but surely, after a decade of hopelessness. On a day to day basis, josh went out of his way and I see how I was doing, and offer his support in any way possible, given that this was a pretty big change for me. Between josh and Jill I always felt I had someone I could talk to, and that I’d also hear the truth, no matter how hard that was. I have had the privilege of developing relationships, not only with my clients, but lots of others in the recovery community.
